Another year, another video to go with the greeting cards we send our clients and friends over the Holidays. Didn’t get one? Hire us in 2014!
This time we decided that the next 12 months will be somewhat psychedelic (both in visible and invisible ways), so we swiftly turned to the ever resourceful music providers Der Pfau for a suitable soundtrack to inspire and guide us.
Their result was – as usual – spot on and beautiful.
Watch the video below and let yourself float downstream… (don’t miss the tibetan monks!).
A few months ago we were contacted by reportage photographer Kosuke Okahara to work on the visual redesign of his website to fit a new structure and new sections. We worked on the wireframes and drafted the mockups focusing on the typography and visual structure.
The website we designed is now online and accessible at www.kosukeokahara.com.
We did the motion design for Kathryn Cook’s ‘Memory of Trees’ photographic multimedia project. The video debuted at the artist’s exhibition in Marseille, during the Marseille-Provence 2013 European Capital of Culture program.

Picture editing and video narrative by Annalisa D’Angelo
Music and sound design by Simonluca Laitempergher

Our friends Sara and Ale from photography / design studio papermoustache both have a passion for long distance running. How long? Exactly 42 kilometers and 195 meters: after years of preparation, they just completed their first marathon in Loch Ness (of all places).
To show our support in the days leading to the race, we decided to design a logo for their participation to the race.
Unable to attend the race itself in Scotland, the next best thing for us was to show up at the Berlin Marathon (which happened roughly at the same time… but conveniently just around the corner from us), and synchronicitically cheer our friends with our handmade little flag:
The red arrow is pointing Wilson Kipsang, who won the Berlin marathon with a new world record (2h 03′ 23″), confirming Berlin’s fame as the quickest marathon in the world. Maybe Sara and Ale should come here next year to lower their personal best.
After all: what’s the point in running a graphic design studio if you can’t have fun with friends?
Architect Cesare Piva just completed a monography about his renovation projects: “Abitare l’Esistente” (“Inhabiting the existing”). He asked us to design the cover for the book, published in Italy by AIÓN. This is the printed result:
we’ve been asked to write, illustrate and animate a promo video to introduce Syneo Tools, a new company that focuses on producing tailor-made interactive sales tools.
The music was provided by Der Pfau and the voice-over by Stephan Rau.
And here is the complete video:
we have recently launched the website for the Galleria del Cembalo, a photography gallery in Rome.
The Berlin based photographer Kai Wiedenhöfer has been working at a photographic project about border and separation walls around the world since 2006. This summer he wants to exhibit his work with large format prints mounted on the Berlin Wall.
We’ve designed the logo and the website for the exhibition, which is currently in the funding phase through Kickstarter, so head over there and support the project!
We’ve been asked to design and animate a video loop for Bosch’s stand at the ISH 2013 in Frankfurt.
The video was to be displayed on an ultra-panoramic stripe of four HD videos, installed at the entrance of the stand.
The script focused on seven key topics inspired from Bosch’s mission and history.
We created seven short animations to represent them, focusing on simple illustrations and a minimal animation style.
The video was created for Syneo.
You can see the complete project on our vimeo page.
We have just delivered the video promo for the 2013 edition of the Reportage Photography Festival, which will be held in Sydney from May 25 to June 13.
We’ve worked at the concept and produced the motion graphics. Der Pfau provided the original music score.
