We’ve been asked to do an animated logo introduction for the ExpoStories project, an international photography and storytelling workshop that will focus on the Expo 2015 in Milan.
Music by Der Pfau.
The photo agency VII is organizing a photography masterclass in Milan on the occasion of the Expo. The Masterclass will span several months covering the lead up to and the beginning of the Expo in 2015. We’ve been asked to design a logo for the masterclass that would integrate the agency’s logo and ‘Expo 2015′.
We decided to work with the agency’s corporate colors and build ‘Expo 2015′ around the VII logo, working with shapes and proportions derived from the logo itself.
A few months ago we were contacted by reportage photographer Kosuke Okahara to work on the visual redesign of his website to fit a new structure and new sections. We worked on the wireframes and drafted the mockups focusing on the typography and visual structure.
The website we designed is now online and accessible at www.kosukeokahara.com.
We did the motion design for Kathryn Cook’s ‘Memory of Trees’ photographic multimedia project. The video debuted at the artist’s exhibition in Marseille, during the Marseille-Provence 2013 European Capital of Culture program.

The Berlin based photographer Kai Wiedenhöfer has been working at a photographic project about border and separation walls around the world since 2006. This summer he wants to exhibit his work with large format prints mounted on the Berlin Wall.
We’ve designed the logo and the website for the exhibition, which is currently in the funding phase through Kickstarter, so head over there and support the project!
To help our friend Sara Lando with the promotion of the (successful!) crowdfunding campaign for her photo-graphic novel ‘Magpies’, we realized a book trailer using some of the most striking images from the book.
Thinking about about the tiny cardboard sets she painstakingly built and photographed for the novel, we thought it would be a great idea to subtly animate those sets and bring them to life.
She provided us with the original files for some key images and we rebuilt the sets in a virtual environment, trying to match lighting and camera effects along the way.
Guess what’s on the page and what’s in our video!
We helped our friend Nicola Mazzuia with the design of a metal box portfolio to show his work 1:1 nonumenti + we designed posters and invitations for the exhibition.
